Recognition Concepts has published 125 Ways to Make Money with Sublimation, a book by J. Stephen Spence.

Spence, who provides sublimation training from his offices in Huntington, WV, utilizes the first chapter of the book to address several general business-oriented topics, such as how to market on a budget and how to use sampling to gain new clients, before moving on to highlight 125 potential markets, customers, and products for sublimation.

He not only covers the needs of established markets for sublimation such as sporting events and car shows, but also discusses the opportunities available in niche markets: floral shops and veterinary offices, and other possible customer bases that are often overlooked. Some unique products mentioned for use in sublimation include magnets, cell phone ID plates, and carpet murals. The book also includes 30 “add-in profit centers” to help expand a sublimation business “without much work or money.”

Also available in conjunction with the book is a 2-CD Pack with hundreds of ready-made designs to be used in sublimation (requires CorelDraw 8 or higher).

Price: $59.95; 2-CD Pack, $29.95; Bundle (book and CDs) $79.95.

Conde Systems will be the book’s exclusive distributor through mid-2007.
