MACtac® Distributor Products Launches IMAGin® WindowVIEW™ Line of Perforated Window Films

STOW, Ohio – Oct. 13, 2014 – MACtac® Distributor Products launches IMAGin® WindowVIEW™, a new line of perforated window media, available in high-performance, intermediate and promotional grades for all window applications. Designed in response to growing customer demand, IMAGin WindowVIEW offers one-way vision through a window or acrylic available with 50/50, 70/30 and 60/40 hole patterns for a desired look.

“The best part about this new family of perforated window films is its cost savings to better meet the needs of our customers,” said Jason Yard, marketing manager, MACtac Distributor Products.

Available in three formats, each film in the series was designed for specific applications resulting in different capabilities and life expectancies, including:

WindowVIEW WV159 – 8-mil high performance soft white, vinyl film with a black reverse side and 50% perforated with a 1.5 mm hole diameter. UV inkjet, solvent and eco-solvent printable, typical applications include vehicle and transit windows and longer term storefront windows with a three-year outdoor durability when laminated with PERMACOLOR® RAYZor™.

WindowVIEW WV139 – 6-mil intermediate soft white, vinyl film with a black reverse side and 30% perforated with 1.4 mm hole diameter. Latex, solvent and eco-solvent printable, typical applications include short- to medium-term POP, retail and storefront window graphics with a durability up to 18 months outdoors when laminated with PERMACOLOR RAYZor or PERMACOLOR LUV™.

WindowVIEW WP129 – a promotional 6-mil soft white, vinyl film coated with a black semi-permanent adhesive and 40% perforated with a 1.6 mm hole diameter. Solvent and eco-solvent printable, typical applications include short-term transit, POP, retail and storefront window graphics with a one-year outdoor durability when laminated with PERMACOLOR LUV.

As the first intermediate perforated window film, WindowVIEW WV139 was developed in response to customer demand for everyday applications where price and performance are factors. Formerly known as JT5916P, WindowVIEW WV159 is improved to be UV printable and is available in a smaller size; it’s also now offered at a lower price in addition to the same tried-and-true WindowVIEW WP129 promotional film.
