LizardTech Launches Genuine Fractals 4.0

LizardTech has launched version 4.0 of its
Genuine Fractals image-scaling program
for Adobe Photoshop. Version 4.0 focuses
on moving away from the proprietary .STN
image format and streamlining with the
Photoshop menu, as well as enabling
users to increase the resolution of images
captured using a digital camera or scanner.
The software can also be used to
scale medium-res images to a higher resolution
to achieve print quality.

Also available is Genuine Fractals
PrintPro 4.0, which gives users the ability
to scale, store, and electronically distribute
digital images for a variety of output
requirements. The
plug-in can create
print-ready enlargements
of various
sizes and resolutions
from a single
medium- or high-resolution
file without
compromising the
quality of the original
image.

PrintPro 4.0 supports
RGB and CMYK Photoshop
color. System

2000 or XP and
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or later for the PC
platform; Mac OS 10.2 or later and Adobe
