Specifically designed for production of
trade-show graphic panels with a UV-curable
wide-format printer, LexJet's new
PROflex UVR with Prelume coating technology
provides a bright-white media and
excellent adhesion with UV-curable inks.
Available in 7-, 15-, and 25-mil thicknesses,
Proflex UVR is a dimensionally
stable, nonglare, scratch-resistant, textured
film that features LexJet's Crosslink
Surface Chemistry treatment and Prelume's
whitening technology.

The 7-mil Proflex can be used in
retractable banner stands; the 15-mil substrate
can be used for trade-show pop-up
booth graphics' curved ends, and can be
applied using magnetic strips; and the 25-
mil media is designed for use as tradeshow
graphics secured with magnets.

Proflex has been tested with the Vutek
PressVu 200/600 printer with OEM inks;
other printers are being evaluated. It is
available in 36-, 54-, and 62-in. rolls.

The Prelume coating technology made
its debut in 2003, and visually enhances
digital color output, reports LexJet. Its
chemical additives whiten and brighten
digital color images without affecting colors
or introducing organic chemical
whiteners that can cause inkjet prints to
yellow with age, says the company. (LexJet Direct: www.lexjet.com)
