ISA’s Sign Industry Quarterly Economic Report for the first quarter of 2016 has found the majority of industry patterns to be on par with previous forecasts . “In general,” states a release, “it shows a relatively strong US economy and a sluggish global outlook.”

After examining four segments – printing, digital signage, electric signage, and wayfinding – and related economic factors, researchers at IHS and Vandiver Associates predict that suppliers to the static side of the industry can expect a rising growth rate throughout 2016 and into 2017, while growth in 2016 for suppliers to the electronic and digital sectors will likely compare to that of 2015, improving “significantly” in 2017.
