HP has released its Latex R2000 hybrid printer for rigid and flexible signage and displays, which utilizes HP Latex White Ink. The printer can image materials up to 98-in. wide and up to 2 in. thick. Features include print speeds up to 947 sq ft/hr with continuous loading, high accuracy belt system, and productive workflow with 14 automatic independent chambers. The Latex R2000 also includes HP Latex Overcoat for high adhesion and scratch resistance, automated maintenance, and redesigned HP Latex Inks producing odor-free prints and a vibrant color gamut, the company reports. The machine is engineered with lower temperatures to provide media versatility; applications include retail, outdoor signage, window graphics, events, décor, and vehicle wraps.
