The Gutenberg & Digital Outlook event will take place April 27-30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hosted by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), the three-day event comprises 40 educational seminars as well as a host of companies exhibiting their wares. GASC expects approximately 8,000 visitors to attend the event.

The theme for the event is “Unlock Your Digital Potential,” and digital topics in the educational sessions will include: “Color Management for Digital Pros,” “PDF 2005,” “Developing a Business Plan for Digital Print,” “Getting Started in Digital Fine Art Printmaking,” “Soft Proofing,” “JDF Update: Is it Worth the Money?” “Digital Prepress Futures,” and others.

Event exhibitors will run the gamut, say show organizers–from prepress software and hardware, to traditional and digital presses, bindery and finishing equipment, design and digital imaging software and hardware, and more.

Expo registration is $20 ($10 before April 1); fees for full-day seminar are $190 each ($150 before April 1), while fees for half-day sessions are $130 each ($90 before April 1). (Gutenberg & Digital Outlook: www.gutenberganddigitaloutlook.com)
