GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for digital, offset, and wide format printing, celebrates their recent success at Dscoop San Antonio, which took place from April 14-16 in San Antonio, Texas. GPA’s entire sales force and members of the management team were in attendance to strengthen relationships with customers and introduce new contacts to the powerful combination of products, people and support that is unique to GPA.
As a Dscoop Diamond Partner, GPA’s presence was highly visible throughout the show: GPA sponsored the Solutions Showcase opening reception, served as the exclusive substratesponsor of the on-site conference guide, presented their Diamond Partner Breakout Session, and was featured in the Dscoop Daily on-site newspaper. Show attendees could also see GPA’s substrates in action at HP’s booth running live on press, and as part of several winning entries for HP’s Inkspiration Awards.
Continuing their tradition of advancement, GPA debuted its new offering of roll label stock for HP Indigo narrow web presses at Dscoop San Antonio. The addition of these premium label materials reinforces GPA’s commitment to servicing the diverse needs of the HP user community, complementing GPA’s offering of substrates for sheet and web-fed HP Indigo presses. Users with one type or a variety of these press platforms can now rely on one partner to fulfill their diverse substrate needs.
GPA also showcased their other recently launched substrates at the conference, including a newline of Folex® synthetics, Ultra Digital® 18 pt. 100%Recycled Brown Kraft Board, and Ultra Digital® 17 pt. Cohesive Cover for HP Indigo commercial presses. For wide format presses, they introduced Concept® 3 Mil Optically Clear Window Film. These products were on display at GPA’s booth with application samples designed to illustrate profitable uses, along with samples of other GPA substrates.
As part of their commitment to advancing the knowledge of the Dscoop community, GPA’s Mary Ann Geers and Matt Buckley presented GPA’s Diamond Partner Breakout Session to a full audience. In the session, “Digital Opportunities to Add Profits to Your Pockets,” Geers and Buckley discussed marketing possibilities for retail and other environments, exploring opportunities that begin outside the store and continue through to interior displays and product packaging. They also shared market insights and the latest specialty substrates behind today’s most successful applications to help attendees uncover profitable new business.
“GPA’s success at Dscoop San Antonio further solidifies our position as market leaders in the graphic arts industry,” said David Maucieri, GPA’s Vice President of Sales. “As a Dscoop Diamond Partner, our passionate team provides high quality substrates and business support tools that our partners and customers in the HP Indigo community rely on us for. It is our honor and privilege to continue delivering that value in new and unexpected ways, as we have done yet again at this year’s conference.”
