Glen Raven Introduces Printable Fabrics

For use on inkjets that use solvent-based inks

The new Glen Raven Fabric Media collection from Glen Raven Custom Fabrics LLC enables owners of wide-format solvent-system inkjets to expand the range of products they can generate. The collection currently includes three fabrics in 54- and 60-in. widths.

Poly Light 3 is a 3-oz. sheer polyester fabric; Poly Oxford 8 is a heavyweight polyester fabric; and Sunbrella? Inkjet 10 is a solution-dyed acrylic fabric with a natural canvas look. Sunbrella 10 can be used for long-term outdoor applications.

“All three of our fabrics were specifically made and recommended for printers such as the VUTEk UltraVu? 3360, Roland's SOLJet, Mimaki's JV3, and Mutoh Toucan machines,” says Doug Dubay, product manager for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics.
