Patel will retain her CFO title while adding management of day-to-day operations to her responsibilities, the company said.

“Gina’s effort, experience, focus, and leadership has been essential to greatly improving our financial and operational results,” said Jared Smith, founder and CEO of Bluemedia, in a press release. “She successfully built our finance team while also overseeing human resources, IT, and operations and has earned the confidence of our executive team and board of directors. While my focus will shift to revenue development, I look forward to continuing to partner with Gina on executing our overall growth strategy.”

Patel joined Bluemedia in late 2020 as VP of finance and was promoted to CFO in May 2021. According to the release, she has cultivated long-range business and financial plans while managing all accounting, treasury, and risk management activities as well as contracts, procurement, IT, and human resources.

Prior to joining Bluemedia, she held roles with Paragon Vision Sciences, Barnes Aerospace, and Natural Stone Manufacturing Co.
