Epson's seven-color, 13-in.-wide Stylus Photo 2200 printer was initially introduced as a tool for digital photo reproduction. But it can also be used as a color-accurate proofer.

Global Graphics has increased the number of medium- and large-format printing devices that its Harlequin RIP? can support by developing ProofReady? plug-ins for the Epson Stylus Photo 2200 and its European counterpart the Stylus Photo 2100. To generate a proof, users simply select the printer and paper from a list. Then the Harlequin RIP automatically selects all the settings to deliver a color-accurate proof to SWOP? standards.

ProofReady runs on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000 and XP and Mac OSX (10.2.4) operating systems.
