Fisher Textiles’ new 480L Soft Poly Pad is designed to be an alternative to foam and core boards for retail signage applications.

A three-layer material, the 480L Soft Poly Pad comprises: Fisher’s 480 Poplin on the printable side laminated to a polyester-fiber layer 100-mil thick; a 480 Poplin Black on the back side; and a middle layer consisting of a polyester fiber made from 100-percent recycled plastic PET bottles.

The 480L Soft Poly Pad has finished edges but can be scissor or razor cut; no sewing is necessary. It can be dye-sublimated and UV-printed with roll or flatbed printers, reports the company.

Available in 60-in. rolls or cut to specified dimensions. Sample rolls are available.
