Epson Direct-to-Fabric Press

Designed to image textiles including cotton, polyester, nylon, silk, and more.

Epson has announced the Monna Lisa 8000, the company’s first digital direct-to-fabric printer available in North America. Designed for short runs and high-volume jobs, the press offers eight PrecisionCore printheads, print speeds up to 1755 ft/hr, and compatibility with a variety of substrates including cotton, viscose, polyester, nylon, silk, wool, and blended fabrics. Users can opt for Epson Genesta Pigment, Reactive, Acid, or Disperse ink depending on job needs; a hot-swappable ink system that holds up to 20 L of ink per color enables continuous printing.

Additional features include Epson Precision Dot Technology, Micro Weave, Multilayer Halftoning, and Lookup Table functions for improved image quality; automated nozzle cleaning by fabric wiper and Nozzle Verification Technology; fluff blower; ink mist extraction system; Epson support and remote monitoring system for simplified troubleshooting; touchscreen panel; optional Epson Edge Print Textile workflow software and Cloud Solution Port operational dashboard; and more.
