EFI’s new Reggiani Renoir Flexy textile printer spans 73 in. and offers the company’s Dynaplast fabric adhesion system for printing on a variety of textiles, including knits, woven material, and low- and high-stretch fabric. The Dynaplast system features adjustable temperature and pressure. Users can choose from five types of inks – reactive, acid, disperse direct, disperse sublimation, and textile pigment – for applications such as apparel and accessories, home textiles, sportswear, and footwear.

The Flexy offers eight printheads with customizable color configurations. Operators can choose between one and four passes for speeds up to 4306 sq ft/hr. The machine features a roll unwinder for feeding material and take-up options for folding or roll winding upon the material’s exit. A one-chamber dryer with a conveyor belt is also included.

Max. resolution is 2400 dpi with droplet sizes ranging from 4 to 72 pL. Additional features include inline double degassing and ink filtering, an embedded magnetic system for adhesive application, a head crash protective system, and more. An ink recovery system is designed to save users up to 95% in ink costs.
