DuPont and InteliCoat Offer Warranted Consumables for NovaJets

DuPont Ink Jet has manufactured inks for the wide-format printing industry since 1996. Some of DuPont's pigmented inks were originally sold under the Encad GO ink brand and are now available as DuPont Fusion? inks for Encad Novajet 500/600/700/800 series printers.

DuPont recently announced plans to offer warranted combinations of Fusion inks and InteliCoat's Magic?-brand calendered vinyls, cast vinyls and banner materials. Graphics produced with recommended combinations of inks and media will be warranted for color stability and serviceability.

Warranty terms will depend on where and how the printed graphic will be used worldwide. The two companies are both performing accelerated durability testing at their respective facilities. DuPont is performing real-time outdoor tests at their facilities throughout the US; and InteliCoat is performing real-time outdoor tests in New England.

“Successful inkjet printing is an optimum combination of ink chemistry and media properties,” explains DuPont's Joe Gutosky. “Tested, warranted solutions give print providers confidence in the printed products they deliver to customers.”
