ColorGate Adds Photo & Fine Art Production, and FotoFusion

ColorGate has added two new picture-modification modules to its ProductionServer software: Photo & Fine Art Production, and FotoFusion.

The new Photo & Fine Art Production module allows users to apply various image modifications, including the generation of neutral grayscale images or individual effect tonings. Additional features include a compensating adaptation to ambient light, automatic indexing, and contact sheets.

FotoFusion helps photographers easily create large-format images and streamline production, allowing for the assemblage of photo-compositions and composites. When used in conjunction with ProductionServer, this module allows for the individual editing of digital images and high-quality output.

The new modules can be used in conjunction with previously released ColorGate modules on ProductionServer. In addition, FotoFusion is available as a standalone application. The modules can be used with all current inkjet printers, ColorGate reports. (ColorGate: www.colorgate.com)
