OK, PSPs… I cannot get enough of you! The more I see of your incredible work, the more I remain amazed. From incredible projects and installations that I discover every week, to the wonderful content we’re able to share in Big Picture and the awesome articles we’re able to provide through YOU! I cannot get over not only the ingenuity and creativity it takes, but also the technical ability and expertise that create real works of art.

So, here’s what I’m asking. There are several sections in Big Picture where I’d love to share your story and work. I’m always looking to feature you and your team in a future issue and promote the unbelievable work you’re doing. There’s several places we can do that if you’re game. Blueprint, Benchmarks, Wide Angle, and Case Studies … we want to share your amazing work and how you got there.

Blueprint is a cool opportunity to share your life/work balance and how you manage that balance. Wide Angle tells the story of your incredible installations and breaks down the technical aspects of the project. Benchmarks showcases detailed installations and describes the challenges and wins that came out of these projects. Case Studies are not just shop profiles but also share real-world lessons learned about being successful in this industry.

We want to share your stories and experiences to help your peers learn new skills, adopt smarter business practices, and see the spectacular work wide-format digital printing makes possible.

So please email me with your latest and greatest — I’d love to feature your work!

Smart Tips From This Issue

  1. You can use a roll-to-roll UV device that combines the white and gloss ink features of a flatbed with roll-feed media, enabling you to add texture and build layers on your prints. (Ginny Mumm, 16)
  2. While some in the printing industry don’t think outgassing is necessary, allowing window vinyl to outgas for as long as possible before laminating reduces the opportunity for outgas-caused haziness. (Joey Heiob, 20)
  3. To survive, businesses must prioritize adaptability over perfection; leverage AI for predictive insights; and embrace incremental innovation. (Mark Coudray, 34)
  4. While installations can operate as separate business units (and sometimes completely are outsourced to third parties), there’s no reason they shouldn’t be connected to the rest of the workflow. (Roksoliana Sydorska, 26)
