Britten Completes Acquisition of JAROB

Britten, the leader in grand format banners, signs and displays, has completed the acquisition of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based JAROB, Inc. The addition of JAROB’s expertise, client base, talent, and equipment will extend Britten’s leadership in the retail market.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company will continue to operate from its Grand Rapids facilities. The company employs 60 individuals.

JAROB Founder Doug Van Portfleet, who announced his retirement, commented, “I searched for a strategic partner that would take JAROB to new heights. Britten has deep respect for the talents and legacy of our company and will provide our customers with a much broader range of creative products and services.”

Britten President Paul Britten added, “The JAROB team adds professional industrial designers, architects, sign makers and expert craftsmen to Britten’s team of printing and fabrication professionals and expands Britten’s capabilities and services to our customers worldwide.”
Britten and JAROB’s combined retail client base now includes thousands of the largest retailers, shopping centers, marketers and vendors to the retail market, as well as small, independent enterprises.
