Avery Dennison Car Wrapping Films Featured on Dozens of Custom Vehicles at 2014 SEMA Show

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions® announced today that its vehicle graphics films will appear on more than two dozen cars throughout the SEMA Show® 2014, November 4 – 7, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, Avery Dennison will present the 2014 Wrap Like a King™ awards at SEMA Ignited, the after party event on Friday from 4-10 p.m. at The LINQ Promenade. Representatives will also be on hand throughout the Show to award prizes in the “Chrome Sweet Chrome™” campaign.

“The SEMA Show® is packed with car enthusiasts and restylers. Through the ‘Chrome Sweet Chrome’ promotion and our partnerships with wrap installers and many of the show’s largest exhibitors, our goal is to raise awareness of how vinyl wrap films can be used to customize the look of any car or truck,” said Erin Harmon, North America segment manager, Graphics Solutions at Avery Dennison®. “Avery Dennison car wrapping films are available in 82 colors, including our first-to-market conform chrome series. Many of these will be featured in Las Vegas on professionally wrapped vehicles, during on-site demonstrations, throughout the Palms Casino Resort® and Rain Nightclub® and at SEMA Ignited.”

More than two dozen vehicles throughout the SEMA Show® will be wrapped in Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film, Conform Chrome Accent Series or MPI 1005 Supercast Series films. Highlights include an All-Wheel Drive Camaro, wrapped by River Raiders in the DUB Magazine® location (DUB Live), a 2014 Lexus® IS-FMSTR Edition, wrapped with support from Service Group Distribution® in the Toyo® Treadpass area, and a Ford® Custom Super Duty, featuring Mother’s Wax® graphics printed on Avery Dennison digital wrap film and installed by APE Wraps. The wrapped Ford® Custom Super Duty will be in the ARC Audio® Booth in the Silver Lot, as well as drive throughout the exhibitor area outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Mercedes-Benz® booth (#40273) will also be debuting a brand new model wrapped in Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film in Carmine Red Satin wrapped by R’s Tuning.

The 2014 Avery Dennison “Wrap Like a King™” contest winners will be presented with the Judges’ and Fan Favorite Awards in the West Coast Customs area at SEMA Ignited on November 7, between 7:00–8:00 p.m. “Tramontana R – Kicks N Whipz” by Bruno Dede from Metro Signs, Inc. / Metro Wrapz, won the Judges’ Choice Award grand prize and “Full Wrap on a Dodge Viper” by Scott Bechtel from Car Wrap City won the Fan Favorite Award. Both winners received an all expenses paid trip to the SEMA Show as their grand prize.

SEMA Show® attendees can enter to win daily prizes and the grand prize in the Avery Dennison “Chrome Sweet Chrome” campaign by finding Avery Dennison representatives at the Show. The Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio offers the broadest selection of color change wrap films for the customization market, with 82 colors in pearlescent, metallic, matte, gloss and chrome finishes. Supreme Wrapping Films are often used in conjunction with Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome Accent Wrapping Films to create unique, personalized wraps. Digitally imaged graphic wraps are printed on Avery Dennison® MPI 1005 Supercast Series, an ultra-conformable series of digital films with a variety of high performance adhesive options.
