At the Bottom of the World

A spectacular iceberg resembles a hand-carved ice castle in Antarctica’s “Iceberg Graveyard.”

“The deep striations were caused from the iceberg rolling over and over for thousands of years and being subjected to extreme erosion from water currents,” says photographer Seth Resnick, who has made three trips to the world’s coldest continent and is turning his images into limited-edition prints.

Resnick captured this image with his Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III digital SLR, then output using an Epson Stylus Pro 7880 with UltraChrome K3 inks onto Epson Exhibition Fiber paper. Print size: 20 x 24 inches, edition size of 50.
