Artexpo New York has announced the beta launch of its new website, artexpo.com, an online marketplace offering year-round access to artwork by artists and publishers.

“ArtexpoStudio.com is not only a fine art retail site, it’s the new go-to destination for artists, galleries and publishers looking for information and tools to grow their businesses in today’s rapidly changing fine-art marketplace,” says Eric Smith, Artexpo CEO. “ArtexpoStudio.com equips artists and galleries with the tools they need to navigate the art industry, present their work professionally, and increase revenues, while giving art enthusiasts and professionals easy access to their work.”

The website allows artists the opportunity to sell their fine-art reproductions without any monthly fees and while retaining full rights of their work. All of the art is professionally archived using Artexpo Studio’s Digital Archiving Studio, which offers a high level of image quality control, according to a company press release.

ArtexpoStudio.com will debut its new reproduction technology during Artexpo New York 2011, to be held March 25-27 at Pier 94, NYC’s “Art & Design Pier.” Fine-art reproductions will be displayed alongside originals, demonstrations and seminars will be offered, and print-on-demand ordering services will be available on-site for exhibiting artists.

“Artexpo’s mission has always been pretty simple: to connect talented artists with people interested in owning their work. Between our annual fine-art trade show and the new ArtexpoStudio.com, we’re offering artists multiple channels of commerce, communication, education, and exposure—everything they need to grow their careers,” Smith concludes.
