Alien Skin Software’s Eye Candy 7 is now available. The newest version of the company’s graphic-design-effects plug-in for Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Eye Candy 7 introduces a redesigned user interface that lets users quickly browse through al of its effects via icons and instant previews. Effects adapt to the size of the artwork, so presets can be used without modification, the company reports.

In addition, Eye Candy 7 adds new Lightning, Electrify, and Cloud Effects. In all, there are more than 1000 presets to handle a variety of design situations.

Price: $199. Owners of previous versions of Eye Candy can upgrade for $99.
