Agfa Avinci CX3200 Soft Signage Press

The press is compatible with a variety of polyester-based fabrics, the company reports.

Agfa has launched the Avinci CX3200 roll-to-roll dye sub printer, engineered to print on transfer paper or directly to textiles for soft signage applications. The 126-in. press leverages Kyocera printheads and odorless water-based dye sublimation inks for flexible, outdoor-resistant prints at speeds up to 2906 sq ft/hr. Additional features include an offline calendaring unit designed to fix color after printing, a preheater to limit drying time and reduce set-off, vacuum engineered to keep thin transfer paper free of wrinkles, Asanti workflow software with automated positioning of cutting marks and grommets, automated media transport with pinch rollers, Asanti Storefront web-to-print software, and more.

Applications include banners, wall graphics, P-O-P displays, flags, sportswear, garments, home décor, and more; the press is compatible with a variety of polyester-based fabrics, the company reports.
