After the Detroit Redwings took a two-game lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009 NHL Western Division Finals earlier this year, Redwings management enlisted Banner Sign in Hazel Park, Michigan, to help continue the momentum.

Banner Sign created five 54-inch x 80-foot inspirational banners for Game 3’s pregame event, producing the two-sided banners on its Mimaki DS1600 with US Sublimation inks, and Pacific Coast Fabrics media. The banners were rolled up to the rafters, unfurled, and then released, making a cool visual as they cascaded to the ice. Ironically, Detroit lost the game, its only loss in the series.
