Inverness, IL – Newly Corporation’s Scanera™ TopFace Pro provides exceptionally high resolution scanning of 3D objects. The large format 23” x 33 wide top face scanning bed enables the scanning of food, artwork and other 3D objects.

With a depth of field up to 4”, the scanera can capture 3D objects and true-to-life textures, including wood grains, which are precisely captured at 130 million pixels. The life-like quality of the scans produced from the Scanera make them ideal for use in menus, catalogs, art archiving, reprographics and more. For unprecedented realism, the Scanera is equipped with a revolutionary large scale integrated circuit (LSI), enabling the capture of realistic images and Intelligence Image Enhancement.

A unique variable light source brings out shadows and highlights to further enhance quality. Uniquely scanning objects from an angle, the Scanera captures details and topographic elements lost by flat bed scanners. The angles of the unit’s fluorescent lights are adjusted throughout the scan to better capture 3D object features. A proprietary video circuit interprets scanned data and creates a realistic replication. The Scanera comes bundled with Scanera Eyes high-speed viewing/editing software. Image enlargement is up to 250X (display equivalent to 100 dpi) and real time digital zoom is 1% – 3,200%. The enclosed, controlled environment of the Scanera makes it a logical alternative to photography. Without requiring additional lighting, or the skill of a photographer, Scanera users can capture 3D objects with vivid clarity.

And, unlike competitor wide format scanners, the self-contained Scanera saves space by housing all equipment internally, including the camera. The Scanera is easy to use and requires minimal set up and operator knowledge to operate.
