Who's Buying Stock Photos Now?

According to a TrendWatch Graphics Arts report, print companies represent a growing market for providers of stock photography. Currently 36% of the print companies surveyed by TWGA are using the Internet to find and purchase stock photography, with another 23% indicating that they might be doing this soon.

Typically a print company's use of stock photos is based on the range of design services they offer. Many print businesses now offer design services as an added value to their customers and to minimize the amount of time spent troubleshooting files from customers.

The report entitled “Stock Photography: A Hot Commodity in a Cool Market” can be purchased online from TWGA. (TrendWatch Graphic Arts: 866-873-6310; www.trendwatchgraphicarts.com)
