That’s the number of conferences, tradeshows, and industry events I’ve traveled to in the 5 and a half years I’ve worked for Big Picture. I don’t even want to begin to calculate the number of planes, hotel rooms, and preflight Bruegger’s Bagels that amounts to.

At each function, I find myself skimming the agenda for sessions, speakers, and booths tailored to our niche: wide-format digital print. Out of the 34 industry events I’ve attended, not one has been designed specifically for us.

Until now.

WFX: Wide-Format Exchange is a new event created just for you: the wide-format print provider.

There’s no sifting through the tradeshow guide hoping you’ll spot a “wide format” educational session, only to find a 101 class for beginners. There’s no wading through a cocktail reception in search of someone who’s just as excited about the latest superwide technology on the show floor. WFX’s agenda is personalized for you. Your peers – who are also looking to expand, diversify, and evolve – will be all around.

I don’t want to inundate you with the full agenda, so here are just a few of the can’t-miss topics tailored for wide-format professionals:

  • How a Punk Rocker from LA Became a One-Stop-Shop Rockstar in Vegas
  • Re-Imagining 3D in the Wide-Format Space
  • If Wallcoverings Could Talk: New Opportunities in Interior Décor
  • The Future is Now: The Two Key Places to Automate Your Production
  • What Single-Pass Printing Means for Your Business
  • Preserving Customer Loyalty, featuring this month’s columnists
  • Big Picture’s Women in Print Panel

Join us May 21-23 in Minneapolis. Discuss common challenges amongst your friends in the business, bring home actionable takeaways to your staff, and ultimately, learn how to be even more successful in the wide-format market. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this opportunity.

I’m excited that my 35th industry event will be WFX, an event finally dedicated to our industry.

Register today at bigpicture.net/wfx.

See you in Minneapolis!
