Black Box Creative is a one-size-fits-all creative studio in Miami, offering everything from graphic and web design to small- and wide-format printing and installation. A self-described friend to small businesses, the shop has found that wallcoverings are a great way to decorate and advertise simultaneously; removables are even better. “For most small businesses, their spaces are leased,” says Marcos Albernas, creative director. “They value the idea that if in the future they relocate, graphics can be reused, and even more, walls do not suffer any deterioration.” This 23.6 x 7-foot wallcovering for the Green Bar & Kitchen was printed on CanvasTac with a Mimaki JV33-160 solvent printer and liquid laminate before being installed using a butt-seam method.
