Ultimate Guide Is Now the Production Module of Bliq

Soon, the Ultimate Guide will be merged into the Keypoint Intelligence Buyers Lab bliQ platform. Here's how this will affect you.

Buyers Lab acquired InfoTrends in 2015 and formed Keypoint Intelligence. One of the first goals was to combine the expertise and strengths in covering the office and production print environments of the two companies which meant integrating the existing product database tools – bliQ and Ultimate Guide. The strengths of the Buyers Lab bliQ product database, which includes over 50,000 document imaging products and time-saving tools, is being leveraged for production products previously found within the Ultimate Guides to Cut-Sheet and Roll-fed.

On or around June 6, 2017, we will integrate the Ultimate Guides into bliQ as a new module for professional printing devices. This new module will include cut-sheet and roll-fed production devices, as well as new expanded set of specifications for these product types. The new spec sheets blend the best characteristics from bliQ and the Ultimate Guide, to provide the best information for you to compare, evaluate, and track production printing technology.

In addition to new specifications, here are some of the additional benefits of the new platform:
– Access bliQ via a tablet
– View test reports and awards for products tested by BLI
– Calculate TCO for cut-sheet devices
– Use the Configure, Price, Quote tool
– Use the BLI Brochure Builder for tested products
– View a timeline of launched products
– Compare up to 25 products side-by-side
– Highlight cells, hide rows, automatically identify & highlight differences among models, save preferred spec views
– Save comparisons, alerts, favorite products, searches, calculations, brochures and quotes

Help guides on how to use this new tool can be found here: http://go.buyerslab.com/e/83612/duction-stats-and-training-pdf/7lqxbx/247859771.

Ultimate Guide users should please note the following changes to the platform:
– Current Office/”Light Production” devices—as specified on the OEM’s website—will remain on the bliQ Office module and retain the site’s current Copier/Printer specifications (unless specifically requested by the OEM to transition to the Pro spec sheet).
– The notes and messaging features will not be available on the new portal.

The team is working hard to add more value to your bliQ experience and will continue to roll out new modules with Wide Format launching this fall. We will keep you updated with new information and progress on this exciting new offering as its launch gets closer.

In addition to the web-based tool, bliQ can also be made accessible as a data feed. If you are interested in this, please contact your sales rep.

If you have any questions or concerns, or would like a demonstration, please contact us at 973-797-2100 or by emailing support@keypointintelligence.com.
