Tropical Graphics Unveils Dye-Sub Inks for Epson 7600

Tropical Graphics has released ArTainium UV+ dye-sub inks for use in the 24-in. Epson Stylus Pro 7600 wide-format inkjet printer. According to Tropical Graphics' Paul Hirst, it's the first inkjet sublimation solution to use 7 colors, with an extra cartridge of light-black ink for improved grayscale reproduction.

He adds that because the Stylus Pro doesn't require a RIP, images to be dye-sub printed can be output at speeds of up to 80 to 100 sq ft/hr, directly from Corel or Photoshop. (Tropical Graphics: www.tropicalgraphics.com)
