The PDR-5300 digital camera from Toshiba Imaging Systems gives business owners and artists an affordable way to capture images that have enough resolution to be printed in sizes up to 11.25 x 16.5 in.
Priced at $399, the camera combines a 5.0 megapixel CCD with a 3X optical zoom lens, a wide range of aperture settings, user-selectable shutter speeds, and noise reduction technology. A full suite of optional manual controls is provided for optimal results in a variety of lighting conditions.
According to Toshiba's Doug Freck, “The PDR-5300 accommodates different types of users and levels of skill, from the discerning photographer who requires total manual control over shooting functions to the weekend digi-cam enthusiast who was a high-performance, easy-to-use camera.”
Housed in a slim, stainless-steel body measuring 3.66 x 2.32 x 1.34 in., the 6.3-oz. camera is one of the smallest 5-megapixel cameras on the market with an optical zoom.
