The Javelin Textile Printer from SPGPrints

The Javelin from SPGPrints features 36 1200-dpi Fujifilm Dimatix Samba printheads for digital textile printing with a range of applications. Users can choose reactive, disperse, or acid inks in a 6-color configuration, and compatible materials include sublimation papers, natural fibers, polyester, lycra, wool, and silk. Print speeds reach up to 5920 sq ft/hr.

The 126-in. machine features the company’s patented Archer printhead technology, designed to give users the ability to control printhead performance and costs; in addition, a capping and wiping system is designed to reduce printhead maintenance. A high head gap protects against head strikes.

Other features include uninterrupted printing of multiple jobs on the same substrate, variable droplet sizes ranging from 2 to 10 pL, the option to choose gas or electric drying, customizable in- and outfeed, and more.
