Dr. Graphix continues to expand the selection of media available with the its proprietary micro-titanium coating. The inkjet-receptive coating provides scratch- and smudge-resistance for worry-free handling of printed graphics. It also eliminates inventory hassles because the coating works with almost any type of ink used in the variety of indoor and outdoor printers found in today's print-for-pay shop. Substrates with Dr. Graphix' micro-titanium coating are compatible not just with all types of dye- and pigmented water-based inks, but also with oil- and solvent-based inks, including mild-solvent inks.
The two latest products to feature the coating are a low-tac vinyl and an adhesive-backed version of Dr. Graphix' popular TR61 Outdoor Matte tear-resistant vinyl-alternative media. With its pre-applied permanent adhesive, the Adhesive TR61 Outdoor Matte is recommended for long-term outdoor posters and lightbox displays as well as P-O-P displays that require direct-mounted graphics.
The Low-Tac Adhesive Matte Vinyl is designed for smooth surfaces such as glass windows or doors. The material can be repositioned easily during installation and doesn't leave any residue after promotional graphics are removed. (Dr. Graphix Imaging: www.drgraphix.com)
