Roland, Caldera Launch PrintStudio for Macs

Roland and Caldera have teamed to develop Roland PrintStudio, a RIP and print management software for Mac users. Features include Adobe PDF Print Engine, ICC profiling tools, template-driven tiling options, and more. Users have access to Roland’s Color & Metallic System Libraries and support for RAL, HKS, and Pantone color swatches. Operators can also create their own ICC profiles. The software supports entry-level color spectrophotometers.

Additional tools include special color generation for white, glitter, and metallic effects; a blur and bleed function designed to prevent white lines at cutting edges; and a custom grommet tool. An Application Guide tool automatically assigns a number to each tile while generating a summary PDF.
