Neschen Americas Opens Training Center

Neschen Americas has opened its Neschen Americas Training and Education Center, designed to  train students on the entire Seal and Neschen brand portfolio, from product selection to final delivery. The new training center is located near the company's Elkridge, Maryland headquarters.

The center includes a workroom, conference room, and expandable classroom to accommodate lectures and hands-on demonstrations. It also houses presentation equipment designed to aid traditional and non-traditional learning. It's equipped with laminators, laminates, media, and wide-format printers. Students learn from Neschen Americas experts, on staff to review product options, as well as product capabilities and applications.

Course options for print service providers include: InDisplay In Depth, where students learn about the integration of Neschen inkjet media, Expolinc hardware, and Seal laminating films in creating comprehensive display products; Application Training in Finishing; Textile Printing and Material Selection; and Environmentally Responsible Media Solutions, which covers the “Converd presented by Neschen” media portfolio. Additional courses may be added depending on interest, the company says. There are also course options for sales training and an in-depth review of all Neschen products for authorized Neschen product resellers.

“The Neschen Americas Training and Education Center is a key element of our business strategy,” says Angela Mohni, vice president of marketing, Neschen Americas. “We are committed to helping our customers be more efficient and effective in their graphic production and believe that conducting trainings in a dedicated environment can greatly enhance the learning experience.”

Sign and graphics industry training veteran Mark Rugen was hired to manage the multi-use facility. Anyone interested in the classes should contact Jackie Nemphos, office services supervisor, at 410.540.8900.
