A range of wide-format roll-to-roll and flatbed inkjet printers, laminating equipment, and print-management software will be showcased in the Wide Format Pavilion of the 2003 Graph Expo show Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, IL. The wide-format area at this year's show will be more than twice the size of the pavilion at the 2002 event.
“The Wide Format Pavilion is part of the Graphic Art Show Company's continuing mission to provide key educational opportunities for graphic communications professionals seeking to capitalize on abundant opportunities in new markets,” explains GASC president Regis Delmontagne.
Many commercial printers who have used wide-format inkjet printers exclusively for proofing are interested in ways the devices can also be used to open new markets, diversify their business plans, and reach deeper into their existing clients' business to provide more revenue.
GASC is promoting wide-format inkjet printing as a diversification opportunity that requires a relatively modest equipment investment, a minimal learning curve, and large profit margins.
