Avery Dennison has revamped its Graphics University education and training program. The program is now a three-day hands-on training course for customers, end-users, suppliers and employees who want to learn more about Avery Dennison's products and technology. Students learn about digital printing technologies, as well as different types of media, overlamination, and the applications for which they can be used.
In addition, participants engage in roundtable discussions and role playing activities to simulate real life sales situations. The program also includes tours of Avery Dennison's training and application center and manufacturing plant as well as instruction in the use of a wide range of Avery Dennison equipment and products.
“We have tailored this three-day training session so that everyone can leave with valuable knowledge and skills to help them perform their individual jobs and respond to new technology challenges with confidence,” says Louise Sullivan, Graphic University program administrator.
All Graphics University classes are held at Avery's Applications Center in Painesville, OH. (Avery Dennison Graphics University: 800-443-9380, www.averygraphics.com)
