(PRESS RELEASE) CARLSTADT, NJ – Agfa took home a trio of EDP (European Digital Press Association) Product Awards for its new hybrid press, the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS. The powerhouse press received top honors in the engine, automation, and ink categories, underlining its game-changing potential in high-volume wide-format inkjet printing.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS has raw performance and versatility, showcasing production speeds up to 1,280 m²/h, 12 rows of print heads, and robust engineering for 24/7 multi-shift operation. The result is stunning, offset-like quality across a wide range of media — from signage to cardboard and specialty substrates.

“Winning in three distinct categories is a powerful validation of our commitment to innovation,” says Arnaud Calleja, Vice President Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa. “It perfectly reflects the strength of our teams, the forward-looking nature of our technology, and our ambition to lead the industry into a smarter, more sustainable future.”

The company also made waves at FESPA 2025 Global Print Expo in inkjet printing with the SpeedSet Orca 1060 water-based inkjet press. The offset-like precision was built to thrive in the most demanding environments, and merges digital innovation with Agfa’s more sustainable engineering.

With a killer speed of 11,000 B1 sheets/hour, the SpeedSet Orca 1060 surges ahead, navigating short runs and on-demand production with agility. Its 1060mm x 750mm sheet size and 0.15-2mm substrate range – from folding carton to micro-flute – enables it to tackle diverse almost any media required.

The SpeedSet Orca 1060 anchors Agfa’s commitment to more sustainable, high-speed digital packaging. As regulations like the EU’s PPWR drive demand for recyclable solutions, the Orca’s food-safe inks and minimal waste output position you ahead of the swell.

“This fully digital packaging printing press merges the robustness and print excellence of an offset press with the compelling attributes of inkjet printing,” says Richard Cotterill, Global Sales Manager Packaging at Agfa. “It offers offset-like print quality yet boasts shorter set-up times, reduced material waste, and efficient variable data printing. On top of that, the SpeedSet Orca enables packaging converters to make their current operations more efficient and more cost-effective.”

Agfa also highlighted its commitment to supporting customers on their sustainability journey. At FESPA 2025, the team demonstrated how its printers, inks, software, and services work together to help customers optimize their sustainability efforts to achieve greater efficiencies and possibilities.

The company’s output is designed to offer synergistic sustainability benefits. For example, its Asanti algorithms minimize ink use while printers leverage Thin Ink Layer capability to maintain quality. Its IoT services also sustain uptime, ensuring printers operate at peak efficiency with eco-certified inks.

This integrated ecosystem enables businesses to achieve extreme productivity, sustainability, and adaptability — hallmarks of Agfa’s cross-functional engineering.

“Agfa powers the sustainability journey of print service providers through an integrated ecosystem that includes eco-conscious inks, durable printers, intelligent software, and expert support,” says Arnaud Calleja, Vice-President Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa.

Finally, the company introduced Jeti Bronco H3300 S at the international show. Built for sign shops and digital printers seeking to master diverse applications, this 3.3-meter workhorse combines durability with breathtaking quality.

With speeds up to 248 m²/h (2,669 ft²/h) and a six-color plus white ink configuration, the Jeti Bronco H3300 delivers vibrant, high-definition prints on both rigid and flexible media. Its UV LED curing technology broadens horizons, enabling flawless results on heat-sensitive materials like thin foils, PET, and microflute while slashing energy consumption.

“The Jeti Bronco embodies the untamed spirit of innovation,” says Philip Van der Auwera, Product Manager Sign & Display. “The blend of industrial reliability and hybrid flexibility lets printers roam new markets, whether producing exhibition graphics on uncoated boards or intricate designs on delicate textiles. And it’s built to evolve alongside your ambitions.”
