MTex has launched three direct-to-textile printers. Each modular system offers variable droplets ranging from 3 to 24 pL and a max. resolution of 1440 dpi.
The Dragon roll-to-roll printer is designed for producing signage, display graphics, and interior décor. It spans 74.8 in. and features eight printheads for a 4- or 8-color configuration. Images up to 1475 sq ft/hr in 4-color mode at 720 dpi.
The Scorpion offers the option of roll-to-roll printing or an adhesive belt for stretched or knitted fabrics. Designed for the high-end fashion market, the Scorpion prints acid/pigment or reactive dyes at up to 5920 sq ft/hr on materials up to 74.8 in. wide. Offered with 16 or 32 heads with 4 or 8 colors.
The 126-in. Eagle also offers roll-to-roll imaging or an adhesive belt. The machine prints disperse or pigment inks up to 5845 sq ft/hr for applications such as display graphics and home textiles.
