Victor (Vivi) Bellaish, an Israeli fashion designer, reveals his new collection as a part of Kornit Fashion Week LA 2021 using Kornit’s digital ecological printing solutions.

During the Kornit Fashion Show LA, from November 2-5 in downtown LA, 16 fashion designers, including Kobi Halperin for Ungaro (showcased here) presented their never-before-seen collections.

Three digitally printed designs from Threeasfour, a transnational trio of artists and designers based in New York City, via Kornit printers. Threeasfour also created a new collection, Kundalini, using Kornit’s MAX technology. The collection premiered at New York Fashion Week.

Shai Shalom’s digitally printed designs cross a wide range of fine knitwear, sophisticated, slim-cut suits, cropped trousers, and modern boat jackets.

Oliver Tolentino says he’s not a “techy person and not into computers, so he hand-drew his prints and Kornit “produced it the way I wanted it.” He even tested the printed fabrics in the sun and in the wash and they “still looked the same.”

Naot’s newest 100-percent vegan collection made its debut at Kornit Fashion Week. It includes clothing designed by Marina Leight, Onalaja, Toit Volant, O.Low by Orit Lowinger, and Kentaro Kameyama, the Season 16 winner of “Project Runway” whose designs were also featured in the November/December edition of Big Picture magazine.

Kristina Sutton, owner of Lakris says Kornit’s machines enable her to print on panels at minimum yardage without a huge expense. She’s able to print on full rolls, which isn’t typically in a designer’s budget. The majority of Sutton’s prints are on silk.

Kobi Halperin says digital textile printing has allowed him to take his collections to the next level.

Julia Clancey is transitioning the brand into 100-percent vegan that will operate at 100-percent zero waste, donating fabric to local schools and charities for art projects. A fully organic sustainable line is in development.

Created by artist John Thompson, designs by Jolleson have been worn by Jennifer Hudson, Meghan The Stallion, Naomi Campbell, Regina King, Cardi B, and Kylie Jenner. Thompson says his painting and visions are brought to life thanks to digital textile printing technology.

Jen Rade designed a T-shirt collected for Kornit’s Fashion Week in LA. She was “blown away by the ability to print materials that looked and felt just like lace and other materials,” according to Kornit.

Georgine needed her graphics to be printed and look like stickers. “The touch and feel is perfect,” she says.

Dreu Beckemberg specializes in custom-made garments. His collection for Kornit Fashion Week Los Angeles is an ode to streetwear and classic sports styles, titled “Back at Home.” Beckemberg is originally from Jamaica.

Bishme Cromartiehe was a contestant on “Project Runway” Season 17 and has dressed Lizzo, Andra Day, Karrueche Tran, and Niecy Nash. “Being able to print on fabric and not hurt the planet is something that allows me to create confidently,” he says in regard to digital textile printing.

Asher Levine has designed outfits for Lady Gaga, Will.i.am, the Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Sam Sparro, and Beyonce. His focus is on organic cotton and organic material. Digital textile printing helps him accelerate the process of designing, printing, and creating collections.

Aliona Kononova began using imagery and prints in her designs once she came across digital textile printing capabilities.
