Web Consulting, the UK-based digital-printing and imaging consultancy, has opened a US office in Boston. The office will be managed by Michael Flippin, who spent five years as a consulting partner with IT Strategies in Hanover, MA before joining Web Consulting in 2002. Flippin will help expand the range of services and capabilities offered to Web Consulting's clients in North America, Europe and Asia.
Founded in 1993, Web Consulting provides primary market research, technology information, strategic analysis and support services to companies specializing in graphics, packaging, textiles, and industrial applications for digital printing.
“We are going through a period of sustained growth in our business with over 80% growth in 2001 and almost 60% growth over this last year, ” said Stewart Partridge, Managing Director of Web Consulting. “It has been particularly gratifying to achieve substantial growth against a very challenging economic background in our core businesses. ”
This is the second of two new office openings for Web Consulting. In February 2003, Web Consulting established a new office in Shanghai, China, as part of a major expansion program. Angie Li is the manager of the Shanghai office and has several years of experience in the digital printing market throughout China and Korea.
