The Hotel of Many Colors

Pantone, whose color-matching system is a staple among graphic designers and print providers the world over, expanded its brand identity with the recent opening of The Pantone Hotel in Brussels, Belgium. Situated on Avenue Louise in the heart of the city’s trendy fashion and retail district, each guest suite in the 59-room inn is designed around one of seven different Pantone color palettes—from “Vibrant and Intense” (Pantone 137C) to “Fresh and Eager” (Pantone 353C). Set against a modern, white backdrop, the rooms feature themed art, color-matched bedding, and oversized Pantone color chips on the wall. Guests can also partake of themed cocktails in the hotel’s Pantone Lounge, including such favorites as Pink Champagne (Pantone 12-1107) and Lemon Drop (Pantone 12-0736).
