SteamJet Fabric Finisher from Jacquard

The new SteamJet Fabric Finisher from Jacquard InkJet Fabric System is a low-pressure, short-run production steamer for fixing disperse dyes. The finisher uses highly efficient steam cycles to yield good color “bloom,” penetration, and superior lightfastness, reports the manufacturer.

The SteamJet features: stainless construction; a special steaming core (included); electronic time and temperature controls; and angled design for easy loading. The unit can process 70 yard of fabric per cycle, and can fix dispersed dye on polyester in 10 minutes at 240 degrees, indicates Jacquard.

Price: $19,995 (SteamJet I, can accommodate media up to 60-in. wide), $24,500 (SteamJet II, can accommodate media up to 75-in. wide).
