SID Signs’ New Heat-Assisted Cold Laminator

Paradigm Imaging Group has announced the distribution of SID Signs’ new heat-assisted cold laminator, the 62-in. SID SL 1600 EW. At a quoted speed of 236 in./min, the laminator is designed to eliminate silvering, bubbles, and wrinkles by applying heat only when necessary. The temperature is adjustable up to 140 F for specialty applications. The laminator features a take-up roller to unwind the release liner backing from pressure-sensitive films and is available with a foot pedal switch for hands-free operation.
