Roland VersaExpress RF-640 8C

Roland DGA has released the VersaExpress RF-640 8C eco-solvent printer. The 64-in. press includes 8-color inks in CMYK, light black, red, green, and orange. Prints can last up to three years of outdoor durability and up to 99 percent of Pantone + Solid Coated spot colors are within gamut to aid in color matching, the company reports. Features include a gold-plated printhead with Roland Intelligent Pass Control for precision of dot placement within passes using variable dot control to produce ink droplets of up to seven different sizes. Applications include interior décor, fine art, and images for businesses such as hotels, museums, entertainment venues, and offices. Included ErgoSoft Roland Edition 2 Special Plus RIP software has tools for advanced color replacement and profiling.
