Roland DGA VersaObject CO Series
Adds UV flatbed and belt-driven hybrid UV presses.
Roland DGA has announced the VersaObject CO series of UV-LED direct-to-object inkjet printers, featuring flatbed presses offered in two carriage sizes and six bed sizes plus two belt-driven hybrid models. Flatbed models are designed for product customization and direct printing onto flexible and rigid materials; the belt-driven hybrid models are engineered for fast loading/unloading and imaging rigid substrates, 3D objects, items with long shapes, and unique or thick roll media including natural/synthetic leather, felt, and rubber mats.
Configurations include:
- CO-300-F200 flatbed, offering 29- x 59-in. print size and 32- x 82-in. bed
- CO-640-F200 flatbed, featuring max. print size of 64 x 59 in. and a 67- x 82-in. bed
- CO-640-F300 flatbed, capable of imaging 64 x 98 in. with a 67- x 122-in. bed
- CO-640-F400 flatbed, designed to print up 64 x 124 in. on a 67- x 150-in. bed
- CO-300-B200 belt-driven hybrid with 32- x 82-in. bed designed to print substrates up to 29 in. wide
- CO-640-B200 belt-driven hybrid that can output media up to 63.6 in. wide on a 67- x 82-in. bed
The series can image gently curved and uneven media as tall as 7.87 in., including substrates like plastic, leather, wood, and cloth for applications such as interior décor, signage, P-O-P displays, packaging, industrial products/parts, and more. Additional features include Greenguard Gold-certified, instant-cure ECO-UV 5 (EUV5) inks available in eight configurations (including dual CMYK and CMYK with optional red, orange, white, gloss, and primer); Distance Print Mode for increased print consistency on flat, irregular, or curved objects; a Reverse Blow function to remove material from the bed; emergency stop perimeter; VersaWorks 6 RIP software; and optional Rotary Rack XL and Rotary Rack XXL accessories for expanded product customization options.
