(PRESS RELEASE) EXTON, PA – Cardboard fan cutouts have been used in every major sport to create the appearance of spectators at games, where in-person attendance was limited or completely not permitted due to COVID-19. Thanks to a partnership between Perk Social/FanCutouts.com, Capital Printing and Ricoh, thousands of fans were brought to life for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament via fan cutouts.
With Ricoh’s team managing the process to help ensure the images of all dedicated fans received by Perk Social/FanCutouts.com were organized and delivered accurately, and with Capital Printing producing each cutout, the program was successful.
The cutout program also supported several charitable causes. All proceeds from the cutouts benefited the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the Pat Summitt Foundation, which supports Alzheimer’s disease research, and the San Antonio Food Bank.
Ricoh has also been involved in producing cutouts for the Philadelphia Eagles and the University of Texas athletics.
“We are proud to have been a part of this program and are committed to helping our customers move forward during this time. We were thrilled to bring passionate women’s basketball fans to the stands, all while supporting great causes,” says Denna Yeager, sponsor-partnership manager, Ricoh USA Inc.
