Quark Inc. has revised its policy for single-user licenses of QuarkXPress. Under the new policy, the primary, registered user of QuarkXPress 6 can now install and activate the software on a second computer at no additional charge. The policy permits non-concurrent use on two systems, which must be on the same platform.
“This is one of the many ways that we're actively responding to customer requests and trying to help our customers be more efficient,” says Monique Wirz-Grutter, Quark's vice president of operations. “Quark is completely committed to improving our customer service.”

The dual licensing policy replaces the Quark Mobile Licensing program; customers who purchased a Quark Mobile License can request a coupon that will apply to the purchase of Quark software or services. Customers who use Quark License Administrator already have the ability to install QuarkXPress software on multiple computers and check out software licenses for multiple use. (Quark: www.quark.com)
