PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, has released the fifth edition of its Best Practices in Digital Print report. The new report features 45 new digital print case studies, as well as best-practice principles for creating high-value digital print solutions. The case studies cover 12 different vertical markets and five business applications.
Each case study describes the goals, solution, and the results of a successful digital print project, and also offers some of the details, including the hardware and software products used. By perusing these case studies, says PODi, printing professionals can “establish their own benchmarks for success and better justify digital print initiatives.” The report also describes trends within specific market and application categories, helping readers stay abreast of significant market and technology developments.
The full report is free to PODi members, and may be purchased by non-members at PODi's website ($495, plus shipping). The individual case studies are also available in PODi's online case study database. (www.podi.org)
