Oce has teamed with the Graphic Intelligence Agency (GIA), the professional services business unit of GretagMacbeth, to create a new Oce Media Technical Support Center. Staffed by GIA representatives proficient in large-format digital color printing applications, the center provides callers with information on any of three main product categories, including display graphics, solvent, or CAD.
“This program offers our distribution partners and their customers a higher level of confidence when selecting Oce large format media, knowing that application support is just one free phone call away,” says Dan Halykyard, director of wide-format marketing for Oce Imaging Supplies. “By complementing our internal capabilities with the technical support of the GIA, we believe Oce can satisfy the needs of digital printers who want turnkey performance and not simply a 'product-in-a-box.' We believe this program will appeal to resellers who prefer suppliers that make their sales teams' jobs easier.”
